  Rates :

The above rate shall remain fixed & firm during the currency of contract and are inclusive of free delivery of stores at consignee stores/site anywhere in maharashtra,4% sales tax, excise duty, transit insurance, loading, unloading, stacking of the goods at consignee stores/site, excluding octroi charges and local levies.

 

Octroi & Local Levies:

Octroi charges and local levies at actual  shall be reimbursed by the consignees who are not entitled to issue octroi exemption certificates, and exemption from local levies.

 

Distribution of Order:

Orders will be distributed as per guidelines given by the stores Purchase Committee.

 

  INSPECTION AND TESTING OF Joints:

As per Govt. directives, pre-dispatch in inspection/testing of the stores with ISI Mark by third party inspection agency is not necessary but consignee is required to inspect the stores and satisfy about the quality before accepting the same . However , if consignee desires pre-dispatch inspection testing of the stores shall be done by third party inspection agencies like DGS&D/EIL/RITES 

MSSIDC,however,reserves the right to purchase CID Joints as per IS :8794/1988 (First Revision ) specifications with third party inspection from Govt.Inspection Agency at the cost of the tenderers.       

 

Timely Inspection of stores :

Consignee or third party inspecting agency as the case may be shall ensure the inspection of the stores is carried out immediately and in any case within 10 days from the date of receipt of inspection call letter and demand draft towards inspection fees.

 

Payment :

As per Govt. in Industries Energy & labour Deptt.GR.No.SPO -1093/(2632)/IND-6 Dt.03.06.93 and dt. 06.08.97 , the consignee /Indenter is required to release 90% payment of the stores within 10 days from the receipt of stores  and balance 10% payment within 20 days. Before placing of order, the  consignee /indenters are requested to ensure the availability of the funds to avoid penal interest. As per the provision of the Act' The interest on Delayed payment to small scale and Ancillary Industrial Undertaking Act-1993, the corporation is eligible for recovering the interest for delay in receiving the payment.

MSSIDC being as Agency nominated by the state Govt. to operate the Rate Contract vide GR.dt.02.01.92, Indenters/consignees who are the actual consumer of the stores. shall be solely responsible for the interest on the delayed payment beyond the terms mentioned above. 

 

 

Delivery Period :

The delivery period of the stores shall depend on the magnitude of the ordered quantity. Consignee/Indenter shall therefore, indicate the exact delivery date in the purchase order giving minimum 40 days from the date of order for commencement of delivery.

The date of offer of stores for inspection made by Rate Contract Holder unit shall be taken as date of delivery of material for the purpose of considering delivery period provided inspection call letter is sent at least 15 days in advance along with inspection fee and acknowledgement is obtained thereon.
