Rate  :

The above rate shall remain fixed & firm during currency of contract and inclusive of free delivery of stores at consignee stores/site anywhere in Maharashtra. The rates are also inclusive of 4% sales tax against from 'H' turnover tax and surcharge on sales tax, and surcharge on sales tax, excise duty, transit insurance, loading, unloading stacking of the goods at consignee stores/site charges for testing the Coolers, but excluding octroi.

 

Supply of stores to Govt. Deptts., are subject to issuance of concessional sales-tax at the rate of 4% against form  "H"  consignees  who are not entitled to issue sales tax,  form "H" shall pay differential amount towards sales tax.

Octroi  :

Since rate is exclusive of octroi charges, same shall be reimbursed by the consignee against documenary evidence if paid by the RC holder units.

Consignees /indentors are requested to issue octroi exemption certificate in favour of Rc holder units whose name will be communicated to the consignee/indentor by  MSSIDC after receipt of the firm order.  If consignee issue octroi exemption certificate and the same is not honoured by Municipal Corporation, octroi charges shall be reimbursed by the consignee against documentary proof.

Distribution of the order  :

The order shall be distributed amongst the RC holder units as per the guidelines given by the stores Purchase Committes.

Pre-despatch Inspection  :

Pre-despatch inspection of the stores shall be carried out at Rate Contract holders factory premises by independent  Govt.  inspection agency -  RITES/DGS&D wherever stipulated by the indentor/consignee and the ins[ection charges shall be borne by the RC holder units.

Timely Inspection of Stores  :

Consignees or third party inspecting agency as the case may be shall ensure the inspection of the stores is carried out immediately and in any case within 10 days from the date of receipt of inspection call letter and demand draft towards inspection fees.
