Unplasticised PVC Pipes for portable water supplies with ISI Mark and specifications as per |
| No. Is : 4985/2000 read with latest amendment for working pressure and size. |
| a) Length of Pipes : Length of Pipes should be 6 meters. |
| b) Color of Pipes : Shall be as per indenter's choice. |
 |
| c) For each pipe one PVC coupler will be required to be supplied at no extra cost. |
| d) The pipes shall be required to be supplied with one end plain and other end fitted with PVC Coupler. |
| e) The Rate contract holder units shall be required to provide jointing material like solvent cement in small tins of 1 to 5 kg. along with pipes. |
| f) If consignees/indenter desires for Socket End PVC Pipes, the same shall also be supplied. |
| g) Testing of Sampling : As specified in IS:4985/2000 with latest amendment. |
| h) Reservation of Item : As per state Govt directives PVC Pipes upto 180 mm dia for all classes are reserved for purchase from SSI units from Maharashtra. |
