Year 2003 Events

1.        INDIA INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR (IITF) 2003 :

Corporation organised Maharashtra Pavilion on behalf of Govt. of Maharashtra at the IITF 2003, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 14^th Nov. to 27^th Nov. 2003. Theme of the exhibition was “Tourism & Promotion of Export by Small and Medium Enterprises”.

40 industrial units participated in the Maharashtra Pavilion for display and sale of their products. Corporation also arrange a Cultural Programme on the Maharashtra Day i.e. 23^rd November 2003 which was inaugurated by Shri Patangraoji Kadam, Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Govt. of Maharashtra.

2.        EXHIBITON OF GANESH IDOLS AND ICONS :

Trimourti Emporium, Mumbai and New Delhi arranged exhibition of Ganesh Idols and Icons during the month of August 2003 before the start of Ganesh Festival.

3.     JUTE SERVICE CENTRE, SOLAPUR :

MSSIDC started Jute Service Centre at Solapur with the assistance of National Centre for Jute Diversification (NCJD), Kolkata, which was inaugurated on 10^th July 2003.
